Caleb Summers was born to a pair of scientists and was genetically altered alongside Circe Castor. When she was being trained to be someone on the level of Black Widow, he was modified to be the fail safe - her Executioner; however, Caleb refused to play his role.He hatched a plan with Dr. Wilhelma Grace, one of the elderly researchers who voiced her disapproval of the experiments on the children. Together, they set off a chain of events that led to the burning of the research facility. Caleb and Circe were 8 years old when the facility burned behind them without a trace leading back to any of them. While Circe had forgotten what happened, Caleb never forgot. He and Dr. Grace would keep the girl in the dark.Dr. Grace raised the two as adoptive siblings, keeping them close together and kept their lives as carefree as possible, but there was no hiding their tendencies. Caleb enrolled into a military academy and joined the air force as a pilot while Circe became a detective. Unfortunately, this led Circe down a road to discover what happened to them before she and Caleb turned 9. Spiralling out of control, she went on a rampage, forcing Caleb to return home on special leave. Circe lunged at him in an effort to kill him and the fail safe protocol kicked in. As Circe died in his arms, he cursed their existence and swore that if there was a chance to make it right, he would redo everything. And his wish was granted.He had awoken a year before her spiral. The countdown would begin.Caleb Summers would have to save her. He would defy their programming; however, poor Caleb would have to suffer through this 41 times.This portrayal is of his 42nd timeloop where he takes on a role of a civilian contractor employed by the air force, allowing him to stay on the ground while watching over circe.

Circe Cassandra Castor was born to parents who cared more about their research more than their own daughter. Circe was offered up as a human test subject to be genetically modified and training as a weapon akin to Black Widow alongside Caleb Summers, the son of others scientists within the same lab.She has no memory of this part of her life after an accident destroyed the lab when both she and Caleb were 8 years old. An elderly researcher named Dr. Wilhelma Grace adopted both Circe and Caleb and raised them both as a means to atone for the experiments that occurred under her watch.From age 9 onward, Circe lived a a relatively stable and normal life without any memory of the lab thanks to Dr. Grace's intervention. Her childhood was filled with happier memories and budding friendships. With Caleb's prompting, she had become good friends with a set of twin boys, Zayne and Dawn Li, and a bunnymorphic girl, Jana; the five of them would often be found playing together in and out of school. Their antics would continue onto middle school and then, high school until Zayne, Dawn, and Jana suddenly disappeared.The loss of those three friends would create a giant hole in Circe's heart that led to her decision to study the social sciences and criminal justice. With her sharp instincts, beauty and brains, she chose to enter the work force as a detective against Dr. Grace's wishes. While she takes on most cases, missing persons cases plaguing the city are the ones she has a special interest in. Circe would never want anyone to feel the way that she did when she was a teenager and strives to solve the cases before it's too late. In her line work, she hopes to find some sense of peace for herself and maybe some answers as to what happened to her loved ones.
